The Social Justice Committee has joined with Corporate Accountability, a non-profit organization, in hosting a meeting Tuesday, July 16, that will focus on actions taken by Exxon Mobil to support remedies that address climate change impacts. A legislative aide for the state Attorney General’s office will be on hand for the meeting, which will start at 10:30 a.m. in the King Room at the meetinghouse. The Stewardship Committee needs three or four energetic and enthusiastic new members for 2020. It is a busy but fun committee that generates creative activities but also does a significant amount of planning and preparing for our major fundraisers including the pledge campaign.
