We know that there are so many things that we don’t know, but what we do know is that whatever happens we are in it together. The Butterfly Team exists to help hold your emotions during this liminal time. To that end, last week we dug up the time capsule from 2013, and next Sunday, November 24th, we’re going to display all of those memories and give you the opportunity. to think about what should go into our next time capsule. What are your hopes for this congregation as we look toward our new home? What are your favorite memories from our time here at 624 North Broadway? You’ll have the opportunity to write down some of your thoughts while we gather for a pot luck lunch after the service. In the spirit of the service topic for the 24th, “sharing makes more”, we invite you to bring a pot of your favorite soup recipe to share.
Please bring your own place settings, if you can, in addition to whatever you feel you can bring to share. If you can’t contribute to the potluck, please come anyway–there’s always more than we need when we share! The only requirement is to bring yourself.
Come, let us celebrate the past and visualize the future together!
Don’t forget to share your memories, joys, and fears in the Butterfly Box in the sanctuary; you can use form below, or also you can email us at: butterflies@uusaratoga.org
