Join us this Sunday October 6 at 9 am for the return of First Sunday Pancakes, sponsored by Religious Exploration and Membership. We’ll gather in the King Room from 9-10am for good food, good fun and good company! Gluten free/Dairy free pancakes will be available as well as the standard flapjack, fruit, coffee and juice. All ages are welcome.

Members Are Urged to Attend the Annual Meeting This Sunday
At its December meeting on December 4, the Board of Trustees focused on fine-tuning the 2020 budget to be voted on Sunday, December 15, along with the revised bylaws (see "Bylaws Changes and 2020 Budget" for more information) at the congregation’s Annual Meeting following this Sunday's worship service.

I’m not going to just be putting my feet up for three months. I mean, I’ll put my feet up sometimes, and I hope you do, too! But I am setting some goals and projects for myself for my sabbatical time.
December Give Away the Plate
Our offering during the service on Sunday, December 15, will go to Youth Squared - Youth Helping Youth, is a Field of Interest Fund formed under the guidance of the Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region. Youth Squared seeks to transform young people by encouraging them to participate in meaningful community service work.

I love the ministry I share with you all. I love being part of this loving and beloved community. And so it feels a little odd to be planning for the sabbatical that the Board and I have scheduled for this coming January through March.

The Stewardship Committee needs three or four energetic and enthusiastic new members for 2020. It is a busy but fun committee that generates creative activities but also does a significant amount of planning and preparing for our major fundraisers including the pledge campaign.
