We, the people of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Saratoga Springs, unequivocally condemn the terrorist attack on our U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. We condemn any and all attempts to overturn the results of a democratic election. It’s great to connect with each other through Zoom worship and other UU Saratoga Zoom programs for children, youth and adults, but we can also reach out to one another any day of the week via phone, email and the U.S. Postal Service — and fortunately, we have Breeze to make that easier!

Imagination’s great gift is improvement. At least that is what we’re usually taught. The deep magic lies in the way it can reshape our reality. We are urged to imagine the world we dream of. A world with more justice. More peace. More love. From that, a mysterious magnetism arises, a magnetism that pulls our imperfect present into an improved future. Imagination moves us forward. It makes us better.

Compassion & Choices Virtual Campaign Kick Off – Monday January 25
While we are unable to meet in person, please join our Care Team in joining "Compassion & Choices" for the virtual launch of their 2021 campaign to pass the New York Medical Aid in Dying Act. Hosted by Senior Campaign Director Corinne Carey, we'll be joined by our legislative champions and statewide advocates.
Online UU History Course Starts January 28
The Adult Faith Development Team of UU Schenectady is pleased to invite members of the Saratoga UU congregation to participate in a course offering beginning later this month. The Long Strange Trip UU history course will be offered online via Zoom starting Thursday, January 28 for six consecutive weeks. Click above for more information.
The COVID-19 Vaccine Is Here!
The first COVID-19 vaccines are here. Due to limited supply from the federal government, availability is limited. More and more New Yorkers will become eligible as the vaccine supply increases.

Jeremy Reflections: Discovering Grace at Life’s End
Four and a half years ago, Jeremy Sykes was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a terminal disease which gradually shut down his lungs. Sadly, Jeremy passed away on December 20th.
Reading the Tao te Ching Returns!
Join Rev. Joe for the return of "Reading the Tao Te Ching" this Wednesday at 6pm! During these gatherings, we read one verse of the Tao te Ching in several translations and meditate on and discuss the insights we find there.
