Web Camps provide the opportunity to meet, connect, and experience community with our fellow UUs between Sunday services, especially now that we’ll need to be indoors more. Three Web Camps are available during October. Contact one of the facilitators to sign up.
Exploring Spiritual Practice
Working from Scott Alexander’s book, Everyday Spiritual Practice: Simple Pathways for Enriching Your Life, Laurie and Pam will lead an exploration of the various ways we can find practices that will help us live more intentionally and more in touch with what we UUs often call the “Spirit of Life.” Alexander defines Spiritual Practice as “…any activity or attitude in which you can regularly and intentionally engage, and which significantly deepens the quality of your relationship with the miracle of life both within and beyond you.” Alexander identifies five areas for spiritual practice: Contemplation, Activity and Nourishment, Relationship, Right Action, and Creativity. Laurie and Pam will lead the group in an in-depth look at three or four of these areas.
Mondays, Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26 at 10:00-11:00 am via Zoom. Limited to 6 people.

Soul Matters October Theme: What Does It Mean To Be a Person Who Listens
“This is your chance to listen carefully. Your whole life might depend on what you hear.” –Joyce Sutphen
We hear, but do we really listen? Listening doesn’t just guide us through the world; it creates our world.
It isn’t just a tool; it’s a place. Listening literally determines our now and our future. Leigh and Nikki
invite you to consider the areas where listening intersects with your UU values. We’ll use stimulating
Soul Matters material to explore ways to make our everyday lives more congruent with what we
covenant and affirm on Sunday mornings.
Thursdays October 8, 15, 22, 29 at 7:00-8:00 pm via Zoom. Limited to 6 people.
