Becoming Mindful
9:30 a.m. “Coffee Hour”
10:00 a.m. Service

“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”  —Victor E. Frankl

All external events are beyond our control and we should accept calmly and dispassionately whatever happens, taught Epictetus, the great Stoic philosopher. What we do have some control over is how we respond to what happens around us.  And we can grow our ability to respond mindfully. What better opportunity to practice this than the Covid-19 crisis?

Rev. Joseph Cleveland, Laurie Singer, Pam Collins, and Dan Forbush will lead this week’s Sunday service in Zoom.
