“Turn the Building over to the City” – Action Needed Now!

Attached is a letter to Supervisors of the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors and a list of email addresses for the supervisors (see links below).

As you can see from the letters, a building owned by the County at 31 Woodlawn Ave in SS will become vacant on April 1st. The City of SS asks that the county deed the building to the City so that it can be used as a permanent facility to offer services to homeless persons in the County. There is some urgency in communicating our desire that this happen since developers will be pressuring the County to sell the building to them.

Also, there is a monthly meeting of the Board of Supervisors on March 17, in Ballston Spa (McMaster Street) starting at 4 PM. I will address the Board then and hope that there is a turn out in support of the message I will deliver — “Turn the Building over to the City”

So, please take a few minutes to send a copy of the attached letter, along with your endorsement of its contents, to the supervisors at their email addresses. Also, please attend the March 17th meeting.

My hope is that people, wishing to be helpful in this campaign, would email the letter to the supervisors along with a statement of their endorsement of the content of the letter.
