Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Saratoga Springs.

Rooted in love, we seek wisdom, cultivate compassion, and pursue justice. We celebrate the gifts of difference and diversity as well as the ways we are the same. We seek the truths in the world’s religions as well as in science, in nature, and in ourselves. We celebrate justice and truth, creativity and imagination. No matter your age, your race, your sexual orientation or gender expression, your life matters here.

Our congregation is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations (UUA), the hub organization of the Unitarian Universalist religious movement in the United States.

The UUA’s 1000+ congregations are committed to seven Principles (https://www.uua.org/beliefs/what-we-believe/principles) that include the inherent worth and dignity of each person, supporting each other’s search for truth and meaning, and honoring the interdependent web of all existence.

Our Principles are rooted in six Sources (https://www.uua.org/beliefs/what-we-believe/sources) that include the world’s religions, humanist teachings, earth-centered traditions, and the individual’s direct experience of transcending mystery and wonder.

Sunday Services Begin at 10 AM

A typical worship service includes thoughtful readings, musical performances, opportunities for singing, and a sermon by our minister. Our services are respectful of our Christian and Jewish heritage and also cherish the honoring of Muslim, Eastern, Earth-centered, and Humanist traditions.

At the present time we are holding our services online using the meeting platform Zoom. For full information about how to attend our online worship, please sign up for our email newsletter using the form you’ll find on this page. A member of our Membership team will be in touch with a welcoming message by email.

Religious Exploration for children and youth is also online at the moment. Please contact our Director of Religious Exploration at DRE(at)uusaratoga.org or call 518-584-1555 for more information.

We are committed to the safety of everyone in and will only begin re-integrating in-person events as science and our New York State guidelines concur that it is safe.
