What We Can Learn from Other Congregations

As we prepare to offer the congregation our first worship service in Zoom this Sunday, March 22, we’ll have a special Zoom meeting with two UU ministers who are putting this powerful web-conferencing tool to work in their own congregations:

The Rev. Jo VonRue, minister of May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society in Syracuse;

The Rev. Craig Schwalenberg, minister of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Oneonta.

Both have visited UU Saratoga as guest ministers during the Rev. Joseph Cleveland’s sabbatical. This meeting will give us the opportunity to reconnect and probe their thoughts on how we can best use Zoom as our new virtual meeting house during the difficult period of social isolation that lies ahead.
