Next Up for the Outing Club: Rail Cycling Out of Hadley

 

While the fall colors are still bright Hadley-Luzerne Bridgein northern Saratoga County, the UU Saratoga Outing Club invites you to join us Wednesday, October 23, for a rail cycling adventure on Revolution Rail’s Hadley Run.

We’ll be heading out at 2:30 p.m. for a 7-mile, mostly flat, out-and-back adventure that will take us across the spectacular Hadley-Luzerne Bridge, a historic steel structure that soars high above the Hudson River, offering panoramic views of the the historic Bow Bridge and impressive rapids below. The ride will continue through peaceful woodlands, where we’ll enjoy the tranquil beauty of the Adirondacks in autumn. It will take about two hours.

If you can handle heights and would like to join us, Revolution Rail is offering a 10 percent discount to UU Saratoga members. That will off $90 for a “double” cycle and $160 for a “quad.”
