In this time of moral crisis, our faith calls us to live our values through courageous and prophetic action. This coming week, NYUUJ is excited to join Unitarian Universalists across the country in participating in a 80-hour ICE Out! Phone Call Blitz: that is, five straight days (80 business hours) of an unbroken chain of phone calls to key members of congress every three minutes (up from the previous 40).

NYUUJ will participate from 4 PM to 5 PM on Friday, February 13th.  Your responsibility will be to sign up for one phone call, make the call at your designated time, read the script we provide….and that’s it! We need volunteer callers! If you are willing and able to participate, email our Program Manager Rev. Ashley DeTar Birt and we will assign you a specific time during our hour.

Together, we can powerfully meet this historic tipping point moment and in our nation.
