James Frame grew up in Potsdam, NY, and graduated from Potsdam Central School in 1991. From there, he attended SUNY Stonybrook in Port Jefferson, LI… somewhat unsuccessfully. He did eventually earn is BS in Biology. In 2003 at the age of 30, James decided to go back to school for theater… mostly, because he felt like it. He also began a relationship with his lovely wife, Elle, with whom he would eventually have two lovely children. Elle introduced James to the UU faith (though he would prefer the term philosophy) at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Athens, OH. While at the UUFA, James found his place on the Sunday Services Committee, where his acting talents and irreverent take on our faith were put to good use leading services once a month.
